The Green Hotel

Most rooms have views over the hotel's extensive garden or the quiet, secluded courtyard and fountain. Each room contains Satellite Television, telephone, trouser press, hair dryer and tea and coffee. All the bedrooms are also en-suite. Basil's Restaurant is one of the best in Scotland and has recently been refurbished. The food has a subtle blend of Modern International with some Scottish influences. The Defiance Bar which also provides hot dishes and snacks is the focal point of the hotel is were you should be to relax and enjoy the very friendly atmosphere and if you enjoy wine just check out their wine list.

Within the hotel's leisure area there is large heated swimming pool with an attractive poolside lounge where the very friendly staff can serve alcoholic or soft drinks, tea and coffee. There is also a sauna with showers, and a fitness area equipped with a rowing machine, weights, an exercise bench and exercise cycle. In addition the hotel has a squash court for those in need of vigorous exercise and a four sheet curling rink. You can have a go at Scotland's only successful winter sport! Outdoors there are two all-weather tennis courts, petanque, croquet and putting lawns framed by beautiful landscaped gardens. If it is fishing you are after then look no further with Lock Leven close by the fishing could not be better.
