The old saying goes 'what goes up, must come down'. Not so with the Toon Army. Having regained their spot in the Premiership for the 10/11 season, Newcastle United justifiably and comfortably retained their place for the 11/12 season. Alan Pardew having arrived in December 2010 will now have to negotiate his first full season at the helm of a huge club and as many a manager before him will testify, failure is not an option.

Again, Blackburn are starting the 11/12 season as many people's favourites to entertain us in the end of season relegation dog-fight. But, fight they do, and no team in the league will treat them as an easy match. Be warned, this Blackburn side are capable of crashing any teams party and will leave many opposing fans wondering what just happened in the last 90 minutes.
