Simply Red

Simply Red is a soul-influenced UK band, formed in 1985 with their debut single 'Money's Too Tight to Mention'. With hits like 'Holding Back the Years' and 'Something Got Me Started', they conquered the world during the 1980s and 1990s with their soulful bluesy pop and vivacious live performances. Simply Red have to date released numerous albums and hit singles which have been successful around the world. 2010 is reported to be the last tour of their career after 25 years of producing rock, jazz and soul influenced pop music.
